Demo Day Roadshow, starting in Paris !

On Wednesday 12th March, after 3 months of intense acceleration, the 12 start-ups were giving for the 1st time their 6 min pitch - Millimeter presentations in English only, in order to break before European roadshow in the coming weeks in Berlin, London and Luxembourg. No doubt , this acceleration bore fruit.

On Wednesday 12th March, after 3 months of intense acceleration, the 12 start-ups gave their six minute pitches for the first time - Millimeter presentations in English only, in order to prepare for the upcoming  European roadshow to Berlin, London and Luxembourg. Without a doubt, this acceleration bore fruit.

Among them were Partech Ventures, 360 Capital Partners, Ventech, Alven Capital... "The level was very good, both in content and in form" says Michael Sassano, latest recruit at Kima Ventures in Paris.

 

 

A proven method to find seed investment, as can attest the ALUMNI

Some seek funds (up to a million), others are looking for clients or mentors. The method has already been proven, as can attest Jean-François Chianetta , CEO of Augment (season 3) . It was during the Demo Day Paris that he caught the eye of an investor, which allowed him to raise 220,000 euros from several business angels in April 2013.

 
 
 
 

Start-ups track-record after 3 months acceleration

The results are already positive. Some have expanded their team, such as Localeyes. Agriconomie are already planning to launch in three other European countries. Qleek is about to launch a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. Krack will soon settle on the US West Coast to continue to further develop its tool for skateboarders, after a 2 weeks acceleration at Seedcamp in London.

Several start-ups already have wholesale clients for Realytics with Danone, or Localeyes application with Microsoft, Ferrero , Bic and Studio Canal, and some have even been able to sign their first B to B contracts among the Le Camping partners.

The day before, the 12 start-ups tested their speech in front of the press. The opportunity for Elise Nebout, the manager of Le Camping, to reaffirm its effectiveness.

Over the years, 62 startups were accelerated at Le Camping out of 1,000 applications, and 88% of them are still alive. Le Camping startups have raised $13.8 million over the years (€10 million).
